What this costs
We have this down as 6 hours of labour and £145 of materials. The prices below are that, plus VAT, and nothing else.
This one needs two of us. The second pair of hands is charged at the mate's rate, not at a second full rate.

The callout covers the first 12 miles. Beyond that it is £0.55 a mile, one way — we do not charge you for driving home. If the job turns out to be a different job, we stop and tell you before it becomes a different price.
A day, two of us, a pump on the system and every radiator done in turn. Chemical cleaner in, magnetite out, inhibitor and a filter fitted at the end so it does not come straight back.
When it is not the answer
If the radiators are cold at the top rather than the bottom, that is air, not sludge, and it costs a fraction of this to fix. We check which it is before quoting.
