Where the weekday figure comes from

The callout covers the first 12 miles. Beyond that it is £0.55 a mile, one way — we do not charge you for driving home. If the job turns out to be a different job, we stop and tell you before it becomes a different price.
If the bath, the basin and the toilet all go at the same time, the blockage is downstream of all of them. Rodded from the access point, then checked with water from the top of the house.
Why this one is an emergency
Because the next thing that happens is that it comes up through the lowest fitting in the house, and that is a different job entirely.
