The callout covers the first 12 miles. Beyond that it is £0.55 a mile, one way — we do not charge you for driving home. If the job turns out to be a different job, we stop and tell you before it becomes a different price.
Drain down enough of the system to get the old one off, fit the new one on the existing tails, refill, add inhibitor back, balance it and check the rest of the house still gets warm.
A word about the size
“The same size” means the same physical length, which is not the same thing as the same output — a modern panel of the same length usually gives more. If you are cold in that room, the honest answer is to work out what the room actually needs first. There is a calculator on this site that does it.
